Lightning Cupcakes & Cakes is a hip, lil' gourmet dessert boutique that was created to raise some serious cash for cool kids fighting cancer :)

 

Lightning Cupcakes, along with several other generous individuals, provide additional funding for the Healing Hunter Foundation, which fights childhood cancers, one smile at a time, through random acts of kindness. 

 

Our main purpose is to deliver smiles and yummies and fill happy tummies...and we truly do accomplish that on a weekly basis. However, we also have another very important focus, and that is to deliver hope, and love, and courage up to the kids and their families at Doernbechers Children's Hospital and Randall Children's Hospital in Portland, OR. 

 

The Healing Hunter Foundation and Lightning Cupcakes & Cakes are both in honor of our rockstar son, Hunter Zen, who lost his battle to AML Leukemia at the age of three. Since the creation of these 2 cool entities, in the beginning of 2010, we've delivered smiles, upon smiles, upon smiles, time and time again, to those lil' warriors and their families. And we will continue to do so for the rest of our lives.
